I stood on a rock, fear filled my eye
In the distance a storm brewed in the sky
I stood on a rock, which would not fall
Despite the torrential downpour of the squall
I stood on a rock, which was ever strong
The immortal storm, in a blink was gone
Darkness engulfed my frail mind
Only the unknown, is all I could find
I stood on a rock, near a distant shore
My spirit started to rock, addicted for more
More answers, more peace, more sleep
Less cancer, and less sorrow-filled weeps
I stood on rock, which comforted me
Lightning in the darkness, all I used to see
I stood on a rock, out at sea
The sky so blue, birds flying free.
