Intelligence, seems irrelevant
An enigma, to so many
Ignorant simplicity
Captivates each viewer, easily,
That the screen can see plainly
What journey allows you to be free?
Subject to another’s form of government
Or travelling where few others have went
Is this not evident, depicted so clearly?
So while some jest
Just give it your best
To separate from the rest
And give individuality – a test
Go on, try it on
Before it`s gone
And another clone
Takes over your zone
-Or-
Point and laugh at another
Someone you may have called brother
In, perhaps, another lifetime
If only, this time, you weren’t a mime
Keep testing karma with no repent
No resent
Until that bitch comes for you, unbent,
No relent
Then with false tears and pretend sighs
Your lips quiver, and moisture is in your eyes
Living a life of momentary fleeting lies
No comfort left in your cocky disguise
Like and unfinished rhyme
You run out of time
And in a blink, without a wink
All your dreams -- die…
So while they laugh
Time wasted being daft
Artists, Poets silently craft
Following their own path.
