Implied Perspective

Silent contemplation spawns conception,
Solace amplifies truth and deception.

…The wind through the window,
The rain infringing upon the screen,
The sun and its final glow,
The little blades in shades of green,
The voices of a familiar terrestrial race
(In which the heart
Rarely takes part),
The great beyond, and celestial space…

In the passing setting, for some degree of a while,
There appears some degree of a crescent
(Moon rising, upon stoic lips) a serendipitous smile;
The veiled and revealed, both seen resplendent.

…The life and the living
The dying and death…

Together, the abstract and the concrete,
Are tinged with both honesty and deceit;
In lonely introspective time one may find,
A plethora of respective friends in the mind.
